This project is a new fashion collection for online retailer Nasty Gal. The collection is academic inspired which combines traditional university, preppy style with chic, trendy fashion. ‘Whispers in the Library’ uses neutral colour palettes to bring a fresh, new edit to Nasty Gal for Spring/Summer ‘22. Nasty Gal is an online retailer therefore this pop-up display allows customers to explore the collection by looking and feeling the items before purchase, increasing Nasty Gals sales. To promote this collection and pop-up display, a look book has been designed to show the pieces styled. The range consists of 10 key pieces, including accessories and footwear. This final project showcases all of my skills in both VM and Graphic Design.
Lookbook
A lookbook was created to promote the new Spring/Summer 2022 Academic collection for Nasty Gal. The lookbook consist of two outfits which can be found in the collection. All of the photographs were taken and edited by myself.
I created a promotional video which could be used across all social media platforms to promote the Nasty Gal collection. This video needed to be inspiring so that viewers would be more inclined to buy from the collection. This video was made using CapCut and Adobe Premier Pro.
As a member of the BDS (British Display Society), our work was judged by a panel of people in the creative industry. I was awarded the Bronze award for my project and was presented the award by Barbara Chapman.
